We are all creative. Yes, even you.
Corrective Creative Experience was developed to assist people, those who consider themselves creative
and those who don't, in exploring that innate creative process. Creativity is just another muscle that if
not exercised will atrophy, taking with it joy, spontaneity and a greater ability to problem solve.
My name is Kerri Anderson-Linde, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and self taught artist.
I have worked with people at all different levels of creative recovery, assisting them in exploring themselves and their blocks to creative expression. Focusing on creative recovery often has the benefit of unlocking other thought and emotional blocks as well.
Since you're here, let's try a little something to get you started. What did you like doing when you were 7 years old? Did you like to play with Legos? Did you like to draw? Did you collect smelly stickers and put them in a colorful sticker album filled with unicorns and rainbows? Can you do that today? Whatever it was. Can you take 10 minutes out of your day to make some "bad art"? Or reconnect with that little, uninhibited part of yourself? What might happen if you do?
Check out my blog for this week's free project idea.
